Setanta

“Over two thousand years ago, someone on the cold and windswept shores of the Atlantic Ocean sat down before a blazing fire and told a story.”

The Irish people have a reputation worldwide as storytellers, poets, and keepers of legend and lore. In Setanta, Cathal Thornton will bring the audience on a journey to an Ireland of long ago, examining some of Ireland’s most celebrated myths, and how they have been changed throughout the centuries. Using projections, puppetry, and a little bit of make-believe, the legends and stories of years gone by will come alive.
